Our mission is simple and it’s to elevate addiction medicine healthcare for marginalized groups facing structural inequalities. Elevate Healthcare is creating change and shaping a movement to create access to culturally responsive, stigma-free addiction healthcare. We support a harm-reduction model of care to promote the health and dignity of people affected by drug use.

Meeting people where they are, but not leaving them there. Our goal is to reduce harm, which can only happen in a culture of respect, safety, and trust.
Elevate Healthcare incorporates a variety of strategies including safer-use techniques, managed use, and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) to promote the dignity and well-being of people who use drugs.

Elevate Healthcare affirms participants as the primary agents of change and empowers participants to have a real voice in the services designed to serve them. We promote a non-judgmental, non-coercive provision of services and culture.

Increase Accessibility
We work daily to reduce opioid-related deaths by increasing access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), like methadone. We believe that widespread access to the treatment on demand is key to ending the overdose crisis.
